Mark McGarry - Manager

Meet Mark McGarry, a certified personal trainer and Manager at FUSE Artane and Finglas. Mark is passionate about helping his clients achieve their fitness goals and gain confidence through fitness. He holds a Higher Certificate in Exercise and Health Related Fitness, an Advanced Personal Training Certificate, and a Sports Specific Strength & Conditioning Certification. Mark began his fitness journey 7 years ago, battling weight issues and low self-esteem. His experience has given him unique insight into what it takes to overcome challenges and build a better self-image.

Mark has a wide range of coaching experience, working with both young and older clients, men and women alike. His biggest success story is May, a woman in her mid-60s who was once intimidated by the gym but has since gained the confidence to train on her own. Mark specializes in fat loss, mental health, muscle building, and building relationships. His coaching style is described as tough but enjoyable, and he is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals.

I am an enthusiastic personal trainer who has been around the fitness industry since a young child and has seen people being pushed to their limits. Since then, I knew I wanted to do this career. I have experience with strength and conditioning, spin classes, weight loss clients, core strength, and nutritional advice/coaching from ages 16+.

I hold certifications in Personal Training (EQF Level 4), Group Instruction (EQF Level 3), Fitness Instruction (Level 3), and Strength & Conditioning. My coaching experience spans a diverse range of clients, helping them achieve goals like weight loss, muscle gain, and improved flexibility. One of my proudest achievements was helping an elderly client lose 22 lbs and gain strength over three months. My fitness journey began during the pandemic, and I quickly developed a passion for HIIT and weightlifting. I became a personal trainer because I love working with people and helping them overcome challenges to improve their mental and physical well-being.
