They hold certifications from leading organisations and have extensive training in anatomy, physiology, and exercise science. Our trainers are dedicated to providing personalised attention and creating tailored workout plans for each client to help them reach their fitness goals.

Luan Soares - Manager

Meet Luan Soares, a dedicated personal trainer at FUSE Smithfield with a passion for helping clients achieve their fitness goals. Luan holds a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education/Sport Science, which took five years of college and graduated from Paulista University in Brazil in 2018.

He specialises in weight loss and mental health and enjoys helping clients begin or improve their relationship with the gym routine and develop a fitness lifestyle they can maintain. Luan's coaching experience includes helping clients recover from pregnancy and glandular/hormonal problems to achieve their weight loss goals. He also specialises in middle-aged clients who want to complete their first marathon. Luan's fitness experience began in high school when a classmate's comment about his weight motivated him to start lifting and working on endurance.

As a personal trainer, he enjoys the challenge of keeping himself motivated after a long, busy day and finding ways to prioritise his training routine. Luan's coaching style is dynamic, strategic, and motivating, and he believes that exercise allows people to discover more about themselves and improve other areas of their lives.

Rhys Donohue

Meet Rhys Donohoe, a personal trainer, group instructor, and sports masseuse at FUSE Smithfield.

Rhys is fully qualified and specialises in helping clients lose weight and build muscle. His fitness journey began by training his childhood rugby club, and he enjoys training clients who like to dig deep and challenge themselves.

Rhys decided to become a personal trainer because he loves helping people improve physically and mentally, and seeing the look on their faces when they notice the improvements in their body or strength gained.

Rhys specialises in helping female clients under the age of 30 lose fat or gain muscle, using his expertise in HIIT training and developing fast-twitch muscle fibers. His coaching style is described as energetic, effective, and intense.

My sports background is in football, to which I still play today at a reasonable standard. Lena Kowalska

With a Diploma in Personal Training from the Athletic Performance Education Company, I bring both personal and professional fitness experience to my coaching. I have over three years of experience in strength training, mobility work, boxing, and kickboxing, and successfully gained 8kg through dedicated training. Fitness transformed my life, and now I’m passionate about helping women of all ages boost their confidence and achieve their goals. I specialise in mobility, muscle gain, and strength training, and my coaching style is motivating, understanding, and empathetic.

Bruna Silva

Meet Bruna Silva, personal trainer at FUSE Smithfield club. Graduated in Sports Science, with four years of college and graduated from the State University of Campinas in Brazil in 2017.

Additionally, she specialized in team sports at the University of Coimbra, Portugal Bruna is fully qualified and specialized in helping clients lose weight, develop healthy habits and also in injury recovery. Bruna's fitness experience began since her childhood, always opting for activities and games that kept her body moving.

Always motivated to help people, she spares no effort to serve the people with the best, caring through sport and physical exercise. With a lot of dynamism, responsibility and commitment, Bruna believes in Physical Education as a path of transformation from the inside out, where you find the best in yourself.

Elridge Robateau

With a foundation in Personal Training (EQF Level 4) and Fitness Instruction (EQF Level 3) from Images Fitness Training Global, I am committed to guiding clients of all ages—from 1 to 60+—toward their best selves. My own fitness journey began early, fueling my passion for helping others build strength, lose weight, and develop lasting healthy habits. My experience ranges from personal transformation to supporting family, friends, and clients in achieving better posture, fitness, and confidence. Focused on muscle gain, weight loss, and improved mental well-being, I bring a dynamic, intense, and strength-focused approach to each session, helping clients achieve their goals with unwavering support.
